We are settling in for the exams this month and the teachers have been working hard in preparing their students. This week also started our collaborative effort with the teachers. I am working with each teacher to develop lessons and projects to present to the kids each month. We are focusing on cultural heritage and physical education. The kids love it and we have had a great response from the community. The fruit program has been extremely popular this week as I have been purchasing a lot of pineapples which the kids love!
This week we added a support wall to stop the football from rolling down into the cornfields. The children also spent the last week cleaning the desks and chairs and mopping the classrooms.
Next week we will continue our studies for the exams and are confident the children will do well.
